Pictures of Petra
We have been reading the Left Behind series and are currently in the book called Desecration. They have been talking about Petra, and we wanted to see pictures of it. At the same time, I came across some articles saying that Google has begun hosting the images from Life Magazine. You can view the images by adding “source:life” to your Google Image Query. I found a few pictures of Petra in the collection.
Here are some more links about Petra:

Kent Update: Lowry Park
Last Saturday, we went to Lowry Park Zoo with my parents and had a blast. Here are some of the pictures from the trip:
Kent really loved the Manatees, or at least talked about them a lot. He always says that they were eating their supper.
Kent got to see the tiger up close and personal.
Kent also liked the Penguins. He always says they were going in circles.
Kent played in the water too. The water jets were his favorite. He would stand and just hit the water. Every once in a while, he would be too close when it would shoot out.
Fun Fact: Hangers as Laptop Stands
I just found a great link on how to make a laptop stand out of a coat hanger.

Fun Fact: Honey, I Swallowed a Computer!
According to Engadet, Philips has developed a product called iPill. Apparently, there are several versions of these smart pills:
- Philips iPill — it’s like a regular pill, but with a microprocessor
- Take two robot pills and see me in the morning
I like the one reader’s comment: Who gets to retrieve the pill when it exits the body? Do they reuse these pills?
